I ran 13.1 in 1:57 today! I can usually do under 2 hours when I'm in training - but I've NEVER done under 2 hours at an EVENT, for goodness sakes!!! :-) This is my GOAL next Sunday in Phoenix at the Rock N Roll half-marathon with my friend Anna Banana.

The wind was WHIPPING today in Kingman! Anna whooped me at the Rock N Roll half in Las Vegas last month :-) She is an EXCELLENT runner - and she inspires me to run faster :-) It was great to run with her today!

Avg pace today was 8:56/mi. Best mile was lap 3 at 8:23 :-)

If you can do that in the wind, you've got it made in the shade with a glass of lemonade. The weather should be good here. And the elevation difference will help. So just remember to take a sip of water or gatorade at each aid station and you'll do great! Sub 2, here you come!
